Optimal acoustics with the COUSTscreen

The COUSTscreen is a custom-made, double-sided acoustic room divider. It can be placed in between desks or desk clusters to improve acoustics in open-plan offices. It can also serve as a visual room divider, with the main focus on speech privacy. For this purpose, the screen is composed of sound-absorbing material on both sides, with an MDF noise stopper in the middle.

The effects are obvious: if one of our screens is placed in between two work spaces, the disturbing sound source appears to be three times as far away as before, which equals a 6 to 10 dB decrease.

COUSTscreens are placed directly on the floor on flat feet or on V-shaped feet with wheels.
